In 2012, Team Sampron embarks on their seventh year as Realtors. As children, our mom, Marilyn, was a professional “lookie-loo.” Every summer, she would pile us in the ’68 Chevy Biscayne and take us to look at all the beautiful new home communities sprouting up around the town we grew up in: Whittier, California. We remember one house in a new community with a picture window overlooking the drive-in movie theater’s big screen! Oh, how we wanted to buy that house!! Although we were born in Jersey City, New Jersey, spent our first few years in Staten Island, New York, and spent another 15 years in the Los Angeles area, after 26 years in Metro Denver, we feel like Coloradoans!
Carrie worked 22 years for Lakewood Municipal Court, 12 of those years in management. She was proud to supervise a large staff and to oversee the development of Lakewood’s state-of-the-art municipal court computer system, which saved the city over a million dollars in its development. Carrie served as the Education Director, Vice President and President of the Colorado Association of Municipal Court Administrators (CAMCA) and was CAMCA Member of the Year. If you know Carrie’s wonderful and friendly personality, accolades for her wouldn’t surprise you.
Carrie moved into her home in Morrison on December 22, 1998: a fun time to move don’t you think? Anyone living near the foothills can feel her pain when the wind kicks up. Carrie enjoys scrapbooking. Carrie loves reading and enjoys selling books online. Carrie loves all things Harry Potter. Thanks to a trip to Europe in 2004, Carrie calls herself a world traveler. Carrie’s favorite travel destinations have included New York City, Washington DC, Las Vegas, Hawaii, London, Oxford, Paris, and Normandy.
