The Inspection Notice
Any well-advised homebuyer will schedule a professional inspection of your home. The Inspection Notice we receive from the buyer can be a scary and intimidating real estate document. Both sides tend to feel passionately about the inspection. You believe your home is perfect, and the buyer wants the home to be perfect. After the inspection, a well-advised buyer will decide what inspection items absolutely must be fixed for them to continue with the purchase of your home. Sometimes we’ll see an Inspection Notice with a couple of important items on it; sometimes we’ll see a “laundry list.” Once again, your choices of reply are “yes,” “no,” or we may come up with an “Alternative Resolution.”
